Paralegal of the Year nomination

We are very proud that Senior Paralegal Carla Loveday has been named as a nominee for the Kent Junior Lawyers Division Paralegal of the Year!

The awards ceremony will take place at the Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & District Law Society (TWTDLS) Dinner on Friday 18 November at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells.

This year’s Dinner is being hosted by current President of the TWTDLS, CooperBurnett LLP Partner John Spence.Carla, who is a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals and company secretarial professional, joined CooperBurnett two years ago, bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in corporate transactions and company law.

She enjoys working with business owners, directors and senior managers; getting to know the client and their business to identify where she can add commercial value and be of most effective support to them.

“We are so very proud of Carla! She thoroughly deserves this nomination and she’s certainly our winner!” says Partner, Victoria Sampson.

“Since joining us, Carla’s been a fabulous additional to the Corporate and Commercial team but that’s only part of her contribution to our firm. She’s spent time mentoring more junior members of the team, while also giving up her time to get involved with our work in the community – most recently organising a wellbeing walk as part of the Walk Tonbridge Festival.

She’s also one of the founders of interTWine, a new business forum for aspiring managers, professionals and entrepreneurs in and around Tunbridge Wells."

When she’s not at work, Carla is a busy mum to two teenagers and loves making the most of the great outdoors.
