Policy note for recruitment agencies
CooperBurnett does not accept CVs submitted by recruitment agencies on a speculative basis in respect of the roles advertised on this website, unless previously asked to do so by our Practice Manager. If and when agency involvement is required, our Practice Manager will contact its nominated agency directly to request assistance.
No agency fees will apply, or be due, in relation to unsolicited submissions of CVs received from recruitment agencies. If an agency submits an unsolicited CV to any partner or employee of the Firm, CooperBurnett will not accept any liability for commissions, fees or other charges if the Firm subsequently employs that candidate directly or through another agency. Where an agency’s correspondence contains a disclaimer indicating otherwise, CooperBurnett’s policy will prevail in this regard.
Work Experience
We provide three to five day work experiences to students who are in year 12 or above. These are normally held in July and August.
Students have the opportunity to ‘drop-in’ to the various departments at CooperBurnett and learn about the work being done there and interact with staff.
The application process for work experience is now closed for 2023 and will reopen in Spring 2024.
