CooperBurnett LLP is delighted to have become a member of the farming and rural co-operative RAMSAK, that operates across the South East.
During our 45 years, we are proud to name many farming families and rural landowners as our clients. Over that time, our Residential Property and Commercial Property & Development teams have worked closely with farmers requiring advice on both rural and semi-rural property transactions. We have assisted clients where farmland or agricultural buildings are being acquired, covering matters including change of use, restrictive covenants, easements and title complexities.
Highlighting our expertise in the farming sector, Residential Property Partner, Glen Webb, became a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA) recently, the first lawyer at CooperBurnett LLP to achieve this accolade. Glen joined our Residential Property team at the beginning of 2019, becoming a Partner in 2024 and he regularly works on transactions that include high value rural property.
In addition to property transactions, we also have teams working in specialist areas such as Corporate & Commercial, Employment, Planning, Private Client and Construction, all key areas of expertise that farming clients often need support with.
Our Construction Partner, David Brown, has more than 30 years’ experience, providing dispute resolution and contract law advice to building contractors, developers, sub-contractors, architects, surveyors and construction professionals.
He says: “I am very happy that CooperBurnett has joined RAMSAK, an organisation that does so much to support our farming sector across the South East.”
