Shannen brings with her experience in a broad range of litigation, including Probate disputes and personal injury claims, as well as property litigation.
“I’ve always enjoyed the property side of litigation,” says Shannen. “Individuals and, indeed, corporates are often highly invested in and territorial when it comes to their property and I am committed to guiding them through their disputes to achieve a positive outcome.”
She adds: “I always wanted to be a lawyer, even when I was at school. I often saw people walk away from disputes in both their personal and professional lives, choosing to bury the issue instead of addressing it. I always felt this was the wrong approach. Instead, I developed a strong tendency to help others resolve conflicts and pursue their rights and entitlements.”
Outside of work, Shannen is an avid skier. At home, she enjoys cooking and reading mystery novels, while she also plays the keyboard and guitar for ‘her own enjoyment’.
