The Sunrise Social supported by CooperBurnett

The first walk of this year’s Walk Tonbridge Festival – which CooperBurnett LLP is excited to be supporting again in 2022 – is ‘The Sunrise Social’. This walk is being co-led by Senior Paralegal Carla Loveday, alongside Walk Tonbridge’s James Pavlou.

As the name suggests, this is a social walk and the hope is to usher in the start of the Walk Tonbridge Festival on Saturday 10 September with a beautiful sunrise. The walk, which sets off from the Bell Inn in Golden Green at 6.00am will follow a gentle 4.5 mile route through meadows, orchards and over rivers, as walkers will watch the sun rise and listen to the countryside waking up.

The walk will be at a relaxed pace, to enjoy the scenery and the company of fellow walkers.

Breakfast will be served back at The Bell Inn, giving walkers the chance to reflect on their walk together.

“Being an advocate for self-care and mental health awareness; when James invited me to co-lead a social group walk with him, I couldn’t refuse the opportunity to promote wellbeing, disconnect from my phone, reconnect with nature and have a natter with fellow walkers as we journey together,” says Carla.
“Our invitation to you is to invite that person you haven’t seen for a while to spend some quality time with you, or simply invest in some time for yourself and with an open mind to who you might find as a companion along the way.”
