Many of our practice areas are really busy at the moment and we are currently actively recruiting to take account of our expanding workload, with new team members welcomed into the Residential Property and Corporate and Commercial teams. That said, we didn’t stop recruiting during the pandemic and welcomed seven people to our firm during that time. We remain committed to recruiting across the firm and welcome any interested candidates!
We’ve recently taken on a new Practice Manager Clare Kelly who is making her presence felt in a very positive way. Currently she’s project managing an exciting project to refresh certain workspace areas.
We are enjoying being able to physically work as a team again, while also increasingly meeting with clients and other business associates. In addition, we look forward to representing CooperBurnett in the community and at networking events. We co-launched enTWine, a new business forum for Tunbridge Wells, during lockdown in 2020 and there have been a couple of very successful in-person events recently, after 18 months on Zoom.
Our work in the community is also set to increase, as we’ve recently named Demelza Hospice Care for Children as our charity of choice for the next two years. It’s a wonderful charity, which provides vital specialist care and emotional support for babies, children and young people with serious or terminal conditions and their loved ones.
We are excited to make a difference to Demelza and also to embark on fundraisers, which have historically also proved to be wonderful team building exercises for us. Our charity committee is busy thinking of our next challenge and there are plans afoot to do something big in 2023! Over recent years we’ve completed the Three Peaks Challenge and cycled from London to Paris in 24 hours, so watch this space.
We do hope that you are feeling equally as positive in terms of your business and personal goals and aspirations for 2022 and look forward to supporting you in any way we can.
