Lisa Connolly, who joined the Residential Property team at CooperBurnett five years ago, has been promoted to Senior Associate Licensed Conveyancer.

She previously worked as a conveyancer in East Sussex for ten years and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2015. Today Lisa deals with all aspects of conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold transactions, re-mortgages, lease extensions and transfers of equity.

She returned to work after maternity leave earlier in the year and hit the ground running, not only having to deal with coming back to the firm during a global pandemic but also at a time when the residential property market has been particularly active.

“Lisa thoroughly deserves this promotion,” says Jennifer Irving, head of Residential Property. “She is such an integral member of the team here and has been vital in keeping the wheels turning during such a busy period. In addition, Lisa has taken the time to welcome and support some new members of our team recently.”

Lisa is also an active member of CooperBurnett’s charity committee, helping to encourage and drive fundraising across the firm. She was part of the team which completed the Three Peaks challenge in 24 hours in 2016 for the hospice charity ellenor, while she also took part in a 26-mile Walkathon, walking from central London to Gravesend, where the hospice is based.
