A team from CooperBurnett Solicitors is looking forward to taking part once again in the annual Tunbridge Wells Legal Walk. Sponsor CooperBurnett

A team from CooperBurnett is looking forward to taking part once again in the annual Tunbridge Wells Legal Walk on Wednesday 4 September. This year Partner John Spence will be joined by Associate Solicitors Charlotte Mackenzie, Glen Webb, Katie Hancock and Thomas Newlyn on the 10km sponsored walk around the Tunbridge Wells area.

The walk will be raising money for Citizens Advice Tunbridge Wells & District and the 2019 event will form part of the 80th anniversary celebrations for Citizens Advice providing a service to local people in the town and surrounding areas.

Last year’s walk (see a photo of our team from 2018 below) raised £5000 for the service and made a real difference to the lives of many local people.

Citizens Advice Tunbridge Wells & District provides the ‘advice people need for the problems they face’. The team explains: “We offer information and advice on a wide range of issues to those living or working in the Tunbridge Wells area. Our service is free, confidential, independent and impartial. We will not judge you, persuade you or tell you what you should do. We will listen, explain all the options available to you, and support you in the course of action you decide to take.”

Partner Gemma Gillespie volunteers for Citizens Advice in Tunbridge Wells one afternoon each month, offering advice on family matters.

Lord Justice Males will lead the walk from The Mount Edgcumbe at 5.30pm.
