CooperBurnett Solicitors held a reception at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells to launch its London to Paris cycle ride in aid of Brain Tumour Research

CooperBurnett held a reception at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells on the evening of Thursday 2 May to launch its London to Paris cycle ride in aid of Brain Tumour Research (on Saturday 4 May).

Five team members - Victoria Sampson, Joseph Oates, John Spence, Katie Hilsdon and Gareth Warner – are embarking on this epic cycling challenge with the goal of completing the 300km that involves in just 24 hours.

The event was an opportunity to tell clients and the business community about the charity challenge and to thank a number of local organisations which have lent the team much appreciated support – including Seamus and the team from Wildside Cycles; Alan from Botanica Health; and Sarah and Jaime from SPN.

Everyone was welcomed to the evening by Partner Joseph Oates, who explained that CooperBurnett will be matching every pound raised for Brain Tumour Research. Then Partner Victoria Sampson explained more about what the challenge will involve and Associate Solicitor, Katie Hilsdon, spoke about how her cousin, Oli Hilsdon, is the inspiration behind this epic challenge and how his memory will keep the whole team pedalling.

Here are some images of the evening, taken by photographer David Bartholomew.
